just found an MSN messenger API library:
http://www.sfu.ca/~tonyt/projects/jmml.html and have downloaded it. i'll try to have the MSN support added by the weekend. i like the sample that is posted--this is *precisely* why i was interested in the messenger API libraries in the first place--system status info.

whenever I try to download the latest MSN messenger 6.1 i get an error saying i need 1603, where can I download this?

click on PUBLIC MSN MESSENGER NEWSGROUP then once the site loads click on msn.messenger and tell a msn techie LIVE for FREE ur problem and u'll get a response in about 40 minutes(just refresh the newsgroup in 40 minutes).they'll post answer in newsgroup(they don't email u)
